As a family photographer, I shoot in the same way as I shoot weddings, as an observer.

Typically, I spend a couple of hours with you, simply documenting you and your family’s time together.

This approach goes for any type of family event that I shoot, from a mundane couple of hours at home, to a christening, baby shower or birthday.

The day-in-the-life session is a 2-hour photography shoot that focuses purely on documenting your family’s time together. This is a client-led approach which allows you to choose what you’d like me to document - from a mundane couple of hours at home, a walk on the beach or a christening, baby shower or birthday.

For those wanting a shorter session with a focus on naturally-led posed shots. These sessions are great for newly engaged couples or families wanting shorter sessions with the ‘mantlepiece’ photos.

- Selection of 30 digital, hand-edited images in black & white and colour - delivered as high-res files on a personal online image gallery - downloadable and shareable.
- Collection of prints to display around the house.

I contacted Maisie to arrange a family shoot. It was a very sensitive request as I wanted to include my eldery horse before she was put to rest. Maisie was AMAZING! She was so lovely In email, being very respectful of the matter and extremely accommodating for my wishes. On the day she was so friendly and my boys absolutely LOVED her, they still talk about her months afterwards. During the shoot we went about our business as a family and Maisie just went with the flow, which for us was led by our boys, and documented our time together. The pictures are just lovely, like so so lovely they tell the story of our time with Maisie in such a relaxed manner and truth be told I had a hard time choosing which ones to have up in our house. The picture film made me cry it just brought so many emotions with all the gorgeous pictures put together. Even when Maisie delivered our pictures on a beautiful wooden USB it was done in such a thoughtful way with a selection of prints and even some lavender in with them that smelt amazing when I opened the envelope. In short if you are looking for someone to book a photoshoot with I would 100% recommend Maisie and should we want another shoot I will be contacting her again. Thank you Maisie.

I was lucky enough to win a family photo shoot with Maisie and I honestly can't believe my luck! What could have been an absolute disaster following a melt down from a very unhappy 3 year old who fell in the mud before the shoot even started was eventually thoroughly enjoyed by all! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do we book you?

To secure your Family shoot, there is a 50% non-refundable deposit or full payment upon booking.

How will I receive my photos?

You will receive digital, hand-edited images in black & white and colour as high-res files delivered on a personal online image gallery - downloadable and shareable as well as a collection of prints.

How many images will I get?

The amount of images you receive will depend on how long your family session is. I do not put a limit on how many photos I give in my packages, it all depends on how long the shoot is.

For a typical 2 hour day-in-the-life family session you will receive between 100 & 300 images, both in black and white and colour.

Will you take group shots?

With any family session I do, I always ensure the mantlepiece shots are taken as well the un-posed, candid images.

How long will it take to receive the photos?

You will receive your products between 2-3 weeks after your family session.

What happens if the weather is bad?

When booking an on location Family shoot, I always ask you to have a back up date planned, so that if it rains on the original date we can still go ahead with it.
