A Family Photoshoot on the beach.

On a sunny Sunday morning at the beach, I photographed Kaca’s lovely family. As a candid photographer, this shoot was photographed in a purely documentary style. I simply captured the family doing what they love to do together on an afternoon out of the house.

The kids played with their toys, flew kites, threw stones in the sea and ate a picnic. These photos are an honest set of memories for the family, moments they can look back on and remember as they actually happened. The idea behind this session, as with all my family shoots, was to give the children time to get used to the photographer being around and space to play naturally, being completely themselves. They didn’t need to be directed in any way, resulting in a natural representation of a family day out.

Below is the photofilm I made for them. In this film, I added soundscapes that I captured whilst with them, which I think adds to how treasurable this memory will be in years to come for the family.
